Cancellation/nonrenewal notices must include information about additional health coverage options, including COBRA continuation coverage (if available) and plans through the Maryland Health Benefit Exchange

Carriers discontinuing a product statewide must provide 90 days advance notice to affected small employers, enrolled employees, and the Insurance Commissioner

Applies to all policies, contracts, and health benefit plans issued, delivered, or renewed in Maryland on or after January 1, 2026
