Creates a new felony offense when arson (malicious or fraudulent burning under §§ 6-104, 6-105, or 6-106) results in the death of or serious physical injury to a firefighter

Establishes a maximum penalty of 10 years imprisonment for violations

Allows sentencing to run consecutive to or concurrent with any related underlying arson charges

Takes effect October 1, 2025
