Authorizes hunters who wound a deer during legal hunting hours to pursue and kill that deer after legal hunting hours, overriding existing time restrictions in Maryland law

Permits use of spotlights, headlights, artificial lights, batteries, or other light-casting devices while pursuing a wounded deer, despite general prohibitions on using lights while hunting

Requires hunters pursuing wounded deer to use only the weapons or methods authorized for the applicable hunting season or permit

Directs the Department of Natural Resources to adopt regulations implementing these provisions

Takes effect July 1, 2025
