Designates November 14 each year as "Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day" in Maryland public schools, commemorating the date in 1960 when Ruby Bridges became the first African American student to integrate an all-white elementary school in New Orleans

Requires each county board of education to develop and implement an educational program on or around November 14 annually

Educational programs may include symbolic walks to school, instructional materials on civil rights and school desegregation, assemblies, and interactive projects on diversity and justice

State Department of Education must develop model content including age-appropriate lesson plans, discussion guides, and resources to help teachers engage students in civil rights discussions
