Allows parents to deduct an allowance from their income for other children living in their home to whom they owe support, if those children spend more than 92 overnights per year in the home and are not subject to the current support order

Calculates the allowance at 75% of what the basic child support obligation would be for the additional children, based solely on that parent's income

Permits courts to decline the allowance if applying it would be unjust or inappropriate considering the best interest of the child for whom support is being determined

Removes the prohibition against rebutting child support guidelines solely based on the presence of other children in a parent's household

Takes effect October 1, 2025
