Creates an exception allowing a spouse who is an alleged victim to voluntarily disclose confidential marital communications in criminal cases where one spouse is charged with a crime against the other spouse

Protects victim-spouses from being compelled to testify about confidential communications, maintaining the voluntary nature of such disclosure

Takes effect October 1, 2025
