Adds Section 14-602.1 to the Maryland Trust Decanting Act specifying that notice and document transmittal must be accomplished in a manner reasonably suitable under the circumstances and likely to result in receipt

Requires authorized fiduciaries to provide notice by personal service, certified or first-class mail with return receipt requested, or courier delivery service with delivery confirmation

Allows alternative notice methods (first-class mail, fax with confirmation, or email with acknowledgement requested) if the recipient agrees in writing to accept the alternative form

Permits recipients to revoke authorization for alternative notice methods by notifying the fiduciary through one of the standard delivery methods

Requires fiduciaries who know or should know that alternative notice was not actually received to re-send notice using a standard delivery method

Takes effect October 1, 2025
