Part-time students pursuing an associate's degree may now hold the Maryland Community College Promise Scholarship for up to 6 years, compared to the 3-year limit for full-time students

Full-time students seeking noncredit vocational certificates, certificates, or associate's degrees retain the existing 3-year scholarship eligibility window

Scholarship coverage is expanded to explicitly include sequences of credit or noncredit courses leading to licensure or certification, and courses required for registered apprenticeship programs

Recipients must maintain a 2.5 GPA, complete at least 6 credits per semester (or equivalent coursework), remain eligible for in-state tuition, and continue meeting income requirements
