Expands educational benefits and provisions previously limited to "armed forces" members to cover all "uniformed services," which includes the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Space Force, Coast Guard, Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, and NOAA Commissioned Officer Corps

Standardizes definitions across Maryland's Education Article and General Provisions Article by referencing federal definitions in 37 U.S.C. § 101 and 38 U.S.C. § 101 for terms including "active duty," "active service member," "veteran," "uniformed services," and "reserve component"

Extends eligibility for expedited educator licensure, in-state tuition exemptions, senatorial and delegate scholarships, and the Edward T. and Mary A. Conroy Memorial Scholarship Program to members of all uniformed services and their dependents

Applies school enrollment accommodations for military-connected students relocating on official orders to dependents of all uniformed services members, not just armed forces personnel

Takes effect July 1, 2025
