Establishes civil penalties for Baltimore City alcoholic beverage license holders who operate outside specified hours without obtaining an exemption from the Board

First offense: minimum fine of $1,000, license suspension, or both

Second or subsequent offense: fine between $2,000 and $20,000, license suspension, or both

Existing law allows the Board to grant after-hours exemptions for Class B restaurants serving food, pharmacies filling prescriptions, and certain Class D license holders in the 46th legislative district

Effective July 1, 2025
