Requires the State Board of Elections to conduct risk-limiting audits after each statewide election, auditing at least one statewide contest and any additional contests selected by the State Board

Risk-limiting audits must be completed before the Board of State Canvassers certifies election results and must be observable by the public to the maximum extent practicable

If a risk-limiting audit finds the electronic count outcome is incorrect, the State Administrator must direct the Board of Canvassers to investigate within 3 days and correct the election result

Changes automated software audits from mandatory to optional after statewide elections, and repeals the previous requirement for manual audits of at least 2% of precincts

Authorizes local boards of elections to conduct risk-limiting audits of local contests at their discretion; effective June 1, 2025
