Replaces the State Treasurer with the Secretary of Planning (or designee) on the Maryland Environmental Service Board of Directors

Adds two new nonvoting legislative members to the Board: one State Senator appointed by the Senate President and one Delegate appointed by the House Speaker

Exempts the Secretary of Planning, legislative members, and Executive Director from the standard 4-year term requirements that apply to other Board members

Prohibits the Secretary of Planning and legislative members from serving as Secretary, Treasurer, or Chair of the Board

Effective July 1, 2025; approved by Governor Wes Moore on April 8, 2025
