Expands the Janet L. Hoffman Loan Assistance Repayment Program to include veterinarians and veterinary technicians who graduated from accredited veterinary schools

Veterinary professionals qualify after working as employees in Maryland for at least 5 years, or by volunteering at least 100 hours per year for 3 years at eligible animal shelters

Eligible animal shelters include those owned by local governments, organizations contracted for animal control services, or organizations that received Maryland Spay and Neuter Grants Program funding

Adds accredited veterinary colleges and universities to the list of qualifying educational institutions for program eligibility

Effective July 1, 2025; approved by Governor Wes Moore on May 6, 2025
