Maryland Department of Health must report quarterly to the Senate Finance Committee and House Health and Government Operations Committee on the number of nursing home surveys conducted in each county, disaggregated by seven survey types: standard, complaint, follow-up, revisit, special focus facility, abbreviated, and life safety code surveys.

Office of Health Care Quality must report every 6 months to each county's local area agency on aging the name of each nursing home surveyed in that county and the date each survey was conducted.

Quarterly reporting requirement begins July 1, 2025, and continues every 3 months thereafter.

The Act takes effect June 1, 2025 and automatically sunsets on May 31, 2029 without further legislative action.
