Adds imprisonment of up to 2 months as a penalty for motor vehicle operators who cause serious physical injury or death to vulnerable individuals while violating traffic laws, in addition to the existing fine of up to $2,000

Vulnerable individuals include pedestrians, highway workers, emergency responders, cyclists, motorcyclists, wheelchair users, and those operating farm equipment, motor scooters, or animal-drawn vehicles

Courts may also order convicted individuals to complete a motor vehicle safety course and perform up to 150 hours of community service

Driver's license suspension of 7 days to 6 months is required for those convicted under this section
