Requires Maryland Medicaid and private health insurers to cover orthoses (custom devices treating neuromuscular or musculoskeletal disorders), including components, repairs, and replacements, once annually beginning January 1, 2026

Mandates replacement coverage without continuous use or useful lifetime restrictions when a health care provider determines it's necessary due to changes in the patient's condition or irreparable damage to the device

Prohibits insurers from imposing higher copayments, separate annual or lifetime dollar maximums, or more restrictive medical necessity requirements than those established under the Medicare Coverage Database

Expands covered medical necessity criteria to include orthoses needed for daily living activities, job-related activities, and physical activities like running, swimming, and strength training

Requires insurers and Medicaid managed care organizations to report compliance data to the Maryland Insurance Administration and Department of Health by June 30, 2031, covering calendar years 2026-2029
