Requires insurers, nonprofit health service plans, and health maintenance organizations in Maryland to provide coverage for postpartum depression screening, defined as administration, review, or discussion of the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale or similar screening methods

Allows insurers to apply copayments, coinsurance, or deductibles to postpartum depression screening coverage, but cost-sharing cannot exceed what the insurer charges for similar coverages under the same policy

Applies to all health insurance policies and contracts issued or delivered in Maryland that provide hospital, medical, or surgical benefits to individuals or groups

Takes effect January 1, 2026, applying to policies issued, delivered, or renewed on or after that date
