Reclassifies transporting a regulated firearm into Maryland for unlawful sale or trafficking from a misdemeanor to a felony, with penalties of up to 10 years imprisonment and/or a $25,000 fine

Removes the offense of trafficking regulated firearms (§ 5-140) from the 3-year statute of limitations that applies to other regulated firearm offenses, allowing prosecution beyond that timeframe

Each violation constitutes a separate crime, allowing multiple charges for multiple firearms trafficked

Takes effect October 1, 2025
