Frederick County volunteer fire, rescue, and ambulance companies (and their auxiliaries) would be allowed to accept credit as payment at gaming events they conduct for their own benefit

Creates an exemption from the existing prohibition that bars gaming event operators from accepting credit to allow a person to play a gaming device

Other organizations conducting authorized gaming events remain prohibited from accepting credit for gaming device play

Violations of the credit prohibition remain a misdemeanor punishable by a fine up to $1,000, loss of gaming event privileges for up to 60 days, or both

Effective date: July 1, 2025
