Replaces the term "auto-injectable epinephrine" with "emergency use epinephrine" throughout Maryland education and health statutes to include any portable, disposable drug delivery device or product approved by the FDA containing a premeasured single dose of epinephrine for treating anaphylaxis

Renames the "Emergency Use Auto-Injectable Epinephrine Program" to the "Emergency Use Epinephrine Program"

Applies to multiple settings including public schools, nonpublic schools, child care providers, youth camps, food service facilities, recreation and wellness facilities at higher education institutions, and naturopathic medicine practice

Maintains existing requirements for training, storage, administration procedures, reporting, and liability protections for personnel administering epinephrine in emergency situations

Effective date: June 1, 2025
