Modifies notice requirements for counties and municipalities seeking to record modifications to unlawfully restrictive covenants (covenants restricting property ownership based on race, religious belief, or national origin)

Removes the requirement to post notice on the courthouse door or bulletin board near the courthouse

Adds a new requirement to publish notice once per week for 4 successive weeks in newspapers of general circulation where the property is located

Retains existing requirements for first-class mail notice to property owners and posting on the official county or municipality website

Property owners retain the right to decline the covenant modification within 30 days after receiving notice; effective date is October 1, 2025
