Extends mandatory funding for the Behavioral Health Crisis Response Grant Program, requiring the Governor to include $5,000,000 annually in the budget for fiscal years 2027 through 2029

Continues existing program that provides grants to local jurisdictions to establish and expand community behavioral health crisis response systems

Maintains requirement that at least one-third of the appropriation must fund competitive grants for mobile crisis teams

Takes effect July 1, 2025; approved by Governor Wes Moore on May 20, 2025
