Prohibits any person from exercising eminent domain (condemnation rights) to acquire property for the construction of solar energy generating stations in Maryland

Applies across multiple categories of solar projects, including those requiring certificates of public convenience and necessity and those exempt from such requirements

Covers solar photovoltaic systems producing more than 2 megawatts of electricity (measured by alternating current rating)

Amends sections 7-207, 7-207.1, 7-207.2, and 7-208 of the Maryland Public Utilities Article

Takes effect October 1, 2025
