Expands Maryland's hearing aid coverage mandate to allow licensed hearing aid dispensers (not just licensed audiologists) to order, fit, and dispense hearing aids for both minors and adults under health insurance policies

Applies to insurers, nonprofit health service plans, and health maintenance organizations issuing policies or contracts in Maryland

Maintains existing benefit limits of $1,400 per hearing aid for each hearing-impaired ear every 36 months, with insureds permitted to pay the difference for higher-priced devices without penalty to the provider

Takes effect January 1, 2026, applying to all policies issued, delivered, or renewed on or after that date
