Harford County Board of License Commissioners may now advertise public hearings on proposed regulatory changes in a newspaper of general circulation or post notice online, rather than requiring both methods.

Notice of alcoholic beverage license application hearings may be published in a newspaper two times over 2 successive weeks or posted online at least 14 days before the hearing date.

Board decisions on new licenses, license upgrades, or location changes may be published in a county newspaper or on the Board's website, replacing the previous requirement for both.

Physical notice requirements for new license or upgrade applications remain unchanged: a sign of at least 12 by 18 inches must be posted at the premises for 20 days before the hearing.

Effective July 1, 2025.
