Expands the juvenile sex offender registry to include adjudications for violations of § 3-307(a)(3) of the Criminal Law Article (sexual offenses in the third degree), in addition to existing covered offenses for minors at least 14 years old at the time of the offense

Requires law enforcement agencies to notify the local superintendent, school principal, and school security officer within 24 hours when a student is arrested for violations of § 3-307(a)(1), (2), or (3), adding these sexual offenses to the list of reportable offenses

Prohibits children convicted or adjudicated delinquent of rape or a sexual offense that would constitute a felony if committed by an adult from in-person attendance at public schools or nonpublic schools receiving State funds

Mandates each local school system provide alternative educational options for children prohibited from in-person attendance, aligned with existing county board policies for juvenile sex offender registrants

Takes effect July 1, 2025
