Counties administering approved local standards may enforce them, establish alternative compliance pathways, and impose fees and penalties matching those allowed by the Department

Counties must submit emissions data reported under local standards to the Department of the Environment

Buildings subject to county-adopted local standards are exempt from complying with statewide building energy performance standards
