Increases the authorized annual budget for the Professional and Volunteer Firefighter Innovative Cancer Screening Technologies Program from $500,000 to $1,000,000 for fiscal year 2025 and thereafter

Allows the Secretary to use up to 20% of Program funds to support academic medical research centers, including the University of Maryland Institute for Health Computing

Research center funding may be used for collection, analysis, and processing of program outcome data to assess and improve the effectiveness of cancer screening

Program appropriations and expenditures remain subject to audit by the Office of Legislative Audits

Act takes effect July 1, 2025 and automatically sunsets on June 30, 2030
