Prohibits operating, conducting, or promoting online sweepstakes games in Maryland that simulate casino games, lottery games, or sports wagering and use dual-currency systems allowing exchange for cash prizes

Violations constitute a misdemeanor punishable by up to 3 years imprisonment and/or fines between $10,000 and $100,000

License applicants and holders must annually disclose jurisdictions where they or affiliates accepted revenue from interactive gaming content in illegal markets during the preceding 12 months

The State Lottery and Gaming Control Commission cannot issue or maintain licenses for applicants/holders who knowingly accept revenue from Financial Action Task Force blacklisted countries, state sponsors of terrorism, or jurisdictions where online casino gaming is prohibited

Takes effect July 1, 2025
