Deadline for municipalities to request inclusion on State Board of Elections ballots reduced from 18 months to 9 months before the certificate of candidacy filing deadline

Municipalities requesting state ballot inclusion must certify their charter establishes deadlines and procedures consistent with state/county elections for candidacy filings, vacancy filling, petitions, ballot question certification, voter registration, and voting

Municipalities previously included on state ballots may continue without filing additional requests unless there has been a significant change in election methods

Designated as an emergency bill, taking effect immediately upon enactment
