Amends the School Mapping Data Program requirements under Maryland Education Article Section 7–1510.1(d)(4)

Adds a new requirement that school mapping data must include site-specific labeling for the 1-mile radius surrounding school grounds, including bodies of water

Expands upon existing mapping requirements which already cover school buildings, grounds, parking areas, athletic fields, surrounding roads, and neighboring properties

Effective date: July 1, 2026
