State Department of Education must consult with the qualified nonprofit entity operating Maryland's donor registry and procurement organizations when developing, updating, or approving curriculum guidance, instructional resources, or professional development materials on organ, eye, and tissue donation for county boards

The Department may use existing educational materials developed by the donor registry or procurement organizations if they are age appropriate, evidence-based, medically accurate, and consistent with the Maryland Revised Uniform Anatomical Gift Act

Procurement organizations include eye banks, organ procurement organizations designated by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and tissue banks
