Requires health insurers to reimburse services provided by graduate-level clinical interns in counseling, social work, and psychology when those services fall within the scope of practice of their supervising licensed professionals

Interns must be enrolled in an accredited graduate program and working under direct supervision of a licensed clinical professional counselor, licensed certified social worker-clinical, or licensed psychologist

Services must be provided at an outpatient health care facility and billed by the supervising licensed professional

Applies to individual, group, and blanket health insurance policies, contracts, and certificates issued or renewed in Maryland

Takes effect January 1, 2027
