Requires Maryland Medicaid, insurers, nonprofit health service plans, and health maintenance organizations to cover aesthetic services and restorative care for scars resulting from physical injuries caused by domestic violence, effective January 1, 2027

Coverage applies to victims who have received deliberate, severe, and demonstrable physical injury from a current or former spouse or cohabitant (defined as someone who resided with the victim for at least 90 days within one year)

Services must be determined medically necessary by a licensed physician to qualify for coverage

Applies to all health insurance policies, contracts, and benefit plans issued, delivered, or renewed in Maryland on or after January 1, 2027
