Prohibits health insurers and managed care organizations from restricting enrollees' ability to choose any in-network laboratory for laboratory services

Requires carriers to allow any laboratory to participate as a contract provider if the laboratory agrees to meet the plan's terms, conditions, and reimbursement rates

Bars insurers from imposing additional copayments, fees, or conditions on enrollees for laboratory services that are not uniformly applied to all enrollees using the same laboratory

Applies to health benefit plans issued or delivered in Maryland

Takes effect October 1, 2026
