State Highway Administration must expand the Maryland Route 410 (East-West Highway) Pedestrian Safety Action Plan project (ID PGA445176) to include an additional segment of the corridor in Prince George's County

Current project scope covers MD Route 212 (Riggs Road) to MD Route 500 (Queens Chapel Road); expansion would extend coverage east from Queens Chapel Road to U.S. Route 1 (Baltimore Avenue)

Expansion addresses documented safety concerns including severe and fatal crashes, and lack of continuous sidewalks, crossings, lighting, and traffic calming infrastructure in the eastern segment

Aligns with Vision Zero principles emphasizing continuous corridor improvements to reduce serious injuries and fatalities for pedestrians, bicyclists, people with disabilities, and transit users
