Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services must electronically transmit weekly lists to the State Board of Elections containing names and new residential addresses of individuals released from State correctional facilities

State Board of Elections must automatically restore voter registration and grant active voter status to released individuals who were registered to vote in Maryland before incarceration and whose new address is in-state

Released individuals receive a voter notification card with enclosed notice confirming their registration address, eligibility for federal/state/local elections, and instructions to contact election boards to decline registration or update addresses

Information identifying that a voter was registered through the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services is exempt from Public Information Act disclosure
