Motor vehicle dealers prohibited from delivering vehicles requiring two registration plates unless the vehicle has front plate mounting hardware installed or the buyer/lessee signs a disclosure statement declining installation

Disclosure statement must acknowledge: the buyer declined front plate hardware, state law requires front plate display, hardware is available from the dealer, and failure to display a front plate is a misdemeanor with fines up to $500

Dealers required to report monthly to the Motor Vehicle Administration the names of all buyers or lessees who signed written statements declining front plate mounting hardware
