Expands the State Lakes Protection and Restoration Fund to cover state-managed lakes in addition to state-owned lakes

Specifies authorized uses of the Fund: removing sediment, treating contaminated sediment, preventing invasive species spread, improving ecological and recreational value, and other necessary actions as determined by the Department

Requires the Governor to include $500,000 in the annual budget for fiscal years 2028 and 2029, dedicated solely to protecting and restoring Deep Creek Lake

Takes effect July 1, 2026 and automatically sunsets on June 30, 2029 (3-year duration)
