Establishes a Task Force to Study Postrelease Services and Requirements, chaired by the Secretary of Public Safety and Correctional Services

Task Force membership includes two State Senators, two House Delegates, the Secretary of Public Safety and Correctional Services (or designee), and the President of the Maryland State's Attorneys' Association (or designee)

Task Force must study each type of release from incarceration in Maryland and examine postrelease programs designed to prevent recidivism, then make recommendations for improvements

Final report with findings and recommendations due to the Governor and General Assembly by July 1, 2027

Act takes effect June 1, 2026 and automatically sunsets on June 30, 2028
