Passenger car fees reduced to $30.50-$101.50 (from $80.50-$151.50) depending on vehicle weight; motorcycle fees reduced to $15.00 (from $65.00)

Truck registration fees decreased by $50 for standard trucks; light-duty trucks (3/4 ton or less, 7,000 lbs max) reduced to $43.75-$88.75 depending on weight class

Fee reductions automatically expire when a replacement bridge for the collapsed Francis Scott Key Bridge opens to general vehicular traffic

Takes effect July 1, 2026; Maryland Transportation Authority must notify the Department of Legislative Services within 5 days of the bridge reopening
