Excludes GLP-1 medications, drugs requiring refrigeration, and prescriptions for single use, emergency use, or nonrenewable treatment courses from the 12-month supply requirement

Allows insurers to temporarily limit dispensing to 90-day supplies during acute drug shortages and to apply utilization management strategies permitted under federal and state law

Amends pharmacy law to permit pharmacists to dispense up to a 12-month supply of qualifying prescriptions after January 1, 2027, matching the existing rule for contraceptives
