State's Attorneys are prohibited from entering plea agreements that would dismiss or nolle prosequi any charge for sex offenses committed against a minor

Registered sex offenders whose victims were minors are prohibited from knowingly operating or entering "places for children," defined as locations specifically intended for use by minors

Places for children include playgrounds, theme parks, and children's museums

Violation of the location restriction is a felony punishable by up to 5 years imprisonment, a fine up to $5,000, or both
