Removes motorcycle riders from the definition of "vulnerable individual" under Maryland's vehicle safety law that prohibits causing serious injury or death to vulnerable road users through traffic violations

Vulnerable individuals still protected under the law include pedestrians, highway workers, emergency responders, cyclists, farm equipment operators, wheelchair users, and those riding animals or animal-drawn vehicles

Violations carry a fine up to $2,000, mandatory court appearance, potential requirement to complete a motor vehicle safety course, and up to 150 hours of community service

Driver's license suspension of 7 days to 6 months is required for individuals convicted under this section
