Increases the annual salary for Wicomico County Orphans' Court judges from $11,600 to $16,000, a raise of $4,400 (approximately 38%)

Salary continues to be paid quarterly

Per Maryland Constitution Article III, § 35, the salary increase does not apply to judges currently serving in a term that began before the effective date

Salary increase takes effect at the beginning of the next term of office, except for individuals appointed or elected after the effective date to fill unexpired terms

Effective date: July 1, 2026
