Authorizes Maryland governmental entities to waive statutory fees, in whole or in part, for veterans across numerous licensing and registration categories including pest control applicators, foresters, pilots, private detectives, security guards, home improvement contractors, fishing licenses, hunting licenses, boat registrations, and vehicle registrations

Requires each governmental entity to adopt regulations establishing procedures for granting fee waivers before any waivers can be issued to veterans

Defines "veteran" using the federal definition under 38 U.S.C. § 101, as referenced in § 9–901 of the State Government Article

Covers fees administered by multiple state agencies including the Department of Agriculture, Department of Natural Resources, Department of Labor, State Police, Motor Vehicle Administration, Commissioner of Financial Regulation, and State Fire Marshal

Takes effect October 1, 2026
