Requires the Maryland Department of Aging to provide resources, training, grants, and other support to the Maryland Access Point network to create dementia-friendly communities through community-based efforts

Defines "dementia-friendly community" as a village, town, city, or county that is informed, safe, and respectful of individuals with dementia and their families, and provides supportive options fostering quality of life

Mandates the Maryland Access Point network provide public awareness and educational materials on reducing dementia stigma, promoting understanding and empathy, and making physical environments safe and accessible

Requires facilitation of specialized training for first responders, local businesses, public agencies, and community groups to increase awareness and support for individuals with dementia

Takes effect October 1, 2026
