Establishes the American Legion Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Grant Program within the Maryland Department of Health to help American Legion posts acquire AEDs for their premises

American Legion posts that cannot afford to procure and maintain at least two AEDs on-site are eligible for grants

Requires the Department to prioritize applicants by descending need, with posts that have no AEDs given priority over those with only one

Mandates the Department adopt regulations including a simple common application procedure and a process to assist posts with limited resources or language barriers

Takes effect October 1, 2026, with funding subject to inclusion in the Governor's annual budget bill
