Persons operating bicycles, play vehicles, or unicycles at intersections facing a red signal may enter the intersection to cross the highway when a pedestrian "walk" signal is displayed for their direction of travel

Before entering an intersection under this provision, operators must yield the right-of-way to any vehicle or pedestrian lawfully using the intersection

A traffic control device may prohibit this crossing behavior if otherwise directed
