Maximum allowable building setbacks capped at 10 feet for front/rear and 5 feet for sides; localities cannot require greater setbacks

Town houses must be permitted in all areas zoned for single-family residential use

Owners of improved residential lots may subdivide into up to three smaller conforming lots, unless the lot was created by subdivision within the preceding 3 years

Exemptions apply to historic districts designated before July 1, 2025, agricultural land, and conservation property; effective date October 1, 2026
